When a member of Council has any pecuniary interest, direct or indirect, in any matter which is the subject of consideration at this Meeting of Council (or that was the subject of consideration at the previous Meeting of Council at which the member was not in attendance), the member shall disclose the pecuniary interest and its general nature, prior to any consideration of the matter.

    Pursuant to Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, Council will enter into Closed Session at 12:30pm to address the following items:

    Item I - Albuna Townline Update - Section 239(2)(f) - Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.

    Item II - Road Closures due to Highway 3 Construction - Section 239(2)(e) - Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board.

    Item III - Towing Contract - Section 239(2)(f) - Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.

    Item IV - 183 Main Street - Section 239(2)(k) - A position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations carried on or to be carried on by or on behalf of the municipality or local board.; and, Section 239(2)(f) - Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.

    Item V - Fire Department Update - Section 239(2)(b) - Personal matters about identifiable individuals, including municipal or local board employees; Section 239(2)(d) - Labour relations and employee negotiations; Section 239(2)(e) - Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board; and, Section 239(2)(f) - Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.

    Item VI -  2 Personnel Matters - Section 239(2)(b) - Personal matters about identifiable individuals, including municipal or local board employees; and, Section 239(2)(d) - Labour relations and employee negotiations.

    Item VII - 2 Potential Property Lease/Sales - Section 239(2)(c) - a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board; Section 239(2)(f) - advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose; and Section 239(2)(k) - A position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations carried on or to be carried on by or on behalf of the municipality or local board.

    Item VIII - ELK Update - Section 239(2)(i) - A trade secret or scientific, technical, commercial, financial or labour relations information, supplied in confidence to the municipality or local board, which, if disclosed, could reasonably be expected to prejudice significantly the competitive position or interfere significantly with the contractual or other negotiations of a person, group of persons, or organization.
