CALL TO ORDER

 

Council is meeting in person at the Grovedale Arts and Culture Centre. This Special Closed Session Meeting of Council will consist of three Council Orientation education and training sessions, commencing November 21 (5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.), November 22 (6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) and continuing on November 23 from 1:00 p.m. until completion, at which time the meeting will be FINALLY ADJOURNED.

B.
DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST

 

When a member of Council has any pecuniary interest, direct or indirect, in any matter which is the subject of consideration at this Meeting of Council (or that was the subject of consideration at the previous Meeting of Council at which the member was not in attendance), the member shall disclose the pecuniary interest and its general nature, prior to any consideration of the matter.

CLOSED SESSION

 

Pursuant to Section 239(3.1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, Council will enter into Closed Session to address the following item:


ITEM I) Council Orientation for the 2022-2026 Council Term, including departmental overview presentations, municipal governance overview and other presentations for the purpose of education and training. Council will move into this Closed Session under Subsection 239(3.1) - A meeting of a council for the purpose of educating or training the  members, at which meeting no member will discuss or otherwise deal with any matter in a way that materially advances the business or decision making of the council. Members of the Senior Management team will be in attendance.
